Capitalism or Communism?

What is ultimately best for modern day human civilization? A market based economy with inevitable inequality or an attempt to forciblly change that in favour of a fairer and equal society? War may be coming in my Nation States region between the communist and capitalist powers and I was wandering what everyone was thinking!

Should I even attempt to begin with how wrong this is?

1. Communism is ultimately best for modern civilization.
2. Capitalism is not naturally created.
3. What communist powers?
4. What region of the world?

Yes, if you feel you can correct him. Ignorance must not be tolerated, it is a hinderance to the socialist cause.

:palm: NOT AGAIN!!!

Anyways, neither. Market socialism.

I'm not going to even try to explain how ridiculous your assumption is, because I'll just end up with a headache and rant for the next hour.

The natural form of the economy is much like communism. (any excess is redistributed regardless of the desires of the producer) However it breaks down with large groups, because of limitations imposed Dunbar's number, Thus an artificial mechanism is required.
This is even more true when you deal with conflict prevention and resolution.

If you can't even get to this step you will never be able to argue which artificial mechanism is better.

It's been said more than once that communism/socialism would never work in a modern world. Granted, capitalism isn't perfect either.

Capitalism providing opportunities for equality? How nice.

Meanwhile, in the real world, it perpetuates inequality.

I know the USSR ultimately failed and China doesn't really follow true Communism, but what about Cuba? They don't seem to be going to badly.

They're still not socialist, they're state capitalist.
