Pesach, Rosh ha Shannah & Yom Kippur are defined in book of Exodus.

Purim is defined in book of Esther.

Hannukah is defined in book of Maccabees. But Maccabees was rejected from the Bible, so why is the Feast still kept?

You've just undergone the Tisha B'Av fast, am I right? The 2014 date was from the August 4 sunset to the August 5 nightfall.

What does that mean? You're culturally (also known as racially) Jewish?

Also, what is it like over there? How on-edge is everyone?
And are you for or against the way Israel handles Palestine and Gaza?
