A large central government maybe, but businesses being owned and run by their workers in a democratic manner isn't really against 'individualism'.

Now back to reality here, Socialism in any form turns citizens into addicts. People get addicted to entitlement programs and it becomes a drug. Soon enough they vote for the politicians that can give them the most money, look what my America's become. At this point a McDonald's worker is equal to a computer designer. No more rich, no more reason to succeed. Plus god knows what would happen to my family farm. My family has worked its ass off for it, been in the family for 8 generations going on 9.
I may have gotten muddied up in communism but oh well. You want socialism? Go somewhere else but I want a nation where I am free to succeed and make something of myself. Dont take that away

Within certain boundaries free speech would certainly be acceptable. Censored, of course, but acceptable. Agitating against the Nation is not.
But if you censor it, it's not free speech. Neither is it "free" speech if it's within boundaries. And speaking out against the government is one of the most compelling and important reasons for the existence of free speech.

Although I personally think Market Democracies are the way forward, reality thus far tends to suggest that Social Democracy > Market Democracy > Democratic Socialism.

I'd imagine it would be protected from the Corporate Farmer industries due to restrictions on big business.

Are you serious? Socialism is awful. Business fails under Socialism. Do you not observe economics? I study economics and psychology and if people arent encouraged to succeed they wont. Give me a logical reason why socialism is economically better than capitalism
