Crossbows result in weaker marksman and were invented for use by those not properly trained to use a longbow. I use a recurve bow because it packs a strong punch combined with my physique, plus its relatively small so it can be used easier in an urban environment.

I'm using bows quite often, when the bow shooting range is available. You Americans have much more freedom when using such things.
