The Rebel Alliances wrote:So, the questions are: 1, Has your politics changed since being a member of the NS community? 2, If so were other NSers involved? And 3, what were the changes?

1. Yes.
2. Kind of, but I reached my own argument against my position while debating. In the end, I came up with the argument that changed my mind.
3. Right libertarian to economic right-of-center and social libertarian. That's more significant a change than it sounds.

Before NS: Centrist-right(economically slightly right, socially more conservative), more socially conservative and authoritarian or corporatism, corporatist or authoritarian or plutocracy, authoritarian in some aspects(extreme reactionary etc), jokingly totalitarian or maybe fascist, corporatism and less authoritarian, ... , more economically right, more economically right, ~Hardcore Republican(economically extremely right, socially very right, not neoconservative, though), socially right leaning/moderate and still capitalist,semi-neoconservative, socially moderate and economically almost ultracapitalism, classical liberalism, ..., minarchism, ...
After NS: Minarchist, socially moderate libertarian, confusion
(been here for only a few months, though)

In conclusion:
When I was a kid I was centrist and somewhat socially and economically right( also Christian, still am, but less enforcive). With time I got more into authoritarianism. I became fascinated by the economical right. My ideas were shifting very frequently between semi-neoconservatism and classical liberalism.

When I was a somewhat neoconservative I read about Milton Friedman(first) and Ayn Rand. It was revolutionary and fascinating, so I started to move towards libertarianism.
I read about Rothbard. [It was at least as revolutionary as from neoconservatism to libertarianism. However, I'm not sure if I ever was an anarcho-capitalist, since I've always been very sceptic towards anarchy. It is an interesting idea, though.] So, my ideas were shifting frequently in a radical manner between neoclassical and minarchism-- maybe even anarchocapitalism.

Recently, I have broadened my views on what I think is good. I'm slightly more accepting towards welfare in a few aspects, and slightly less economically right. I don't know what I am now. Maybe I'm just vaguely a libertarian. Maybe I'm even an Objectivist, however, I know too little about it to tell if I am or not.

I don't know if I ever truly saw authoritarianism or anarchism as good things. I think they are both stupid, at least the former one, the latter is, because I don't know enough about it.

Mine haven't changed much since 2008, and the slight changes there have been weren't caused by NS.

If anything I've become more liberal and more extremist. I identify much more with socialism now than I did before I came here in 2011.

Saber was conservative blue, and in fact she was a traditional values gal, and a virgin.
Rin was liberal red, and in fact she was a bisexual smarty young student.

....was Sakura a centrist, then?

I went further left from being a social democrat to a socialist.

Not only, but somewhat due to some of the people on this forum.

Maybe. I haven't played the Heaven's Feel route, but I'm pretty sure underneath all that centrist exterior is a fucking psycho.

I renounced my Christian faith, and therefore became more liberal, kinda. So there's that.

Edit: I've become more of a Progressive Conservative. Pretty big change considering I used to be a firm Conservative.
