232,000+ petitions

To get some 19 year old dumbass deported. We can get that many petition signatures for stupid shit like this, but not for things that are, well, actual issues that, I don't know, actually affect us.
God help this country.

Anyways, Bieber's a punk, but deporting him for being a punk is just asinine.

Between this and the deathstar petition I'm growing really concerned about the priorities of some people.

How do you know this doesn't affect us? What if the message such a deportation sends decreases crime?

lawson, has not been convicted of anything. scotland yard declined to press charges, yet she cant get in, and justin is still here. the law has not been applied fairly in these instances.

Bieber has an O-1B Visa, grounds for revocation are higher, violent crimes and sentences with potential imprisonment of 1 year or more.

well according to a local free paper, its not a great source but its late and i am tired

http://www.metro.us/newyork/entertainme ... rap-sheet/

the only thing that has been official charged with is the 3 miami charges, with no convictions as of january 2014. I would think that would keep him in country, though i will still contend his treatment as compared to lawson's is inherently unfair to lawson. that said i will concede he is still here legally, unfortunately

though according to TMZ

Yes, take back a guy that pays tens of millions in taxes.

Why would we want our government to get that revenue? The Canadian government should have it, because he is Canadian.

Solid logic.

I got an idea, we want to stop fighting this war on terror right? We want Justin Berber to go away right? So why not send him on "Tour" in terrorist infested countries and then wait a couple months and then the terrorist will beg the US to kill them just to escape the horror. In fact why not send Rebecca Black and Miley Cyrus along with him they'll be the ultimate weapons against terrorism.

I wouldn't be too worried about it. It's not like 232,000 people put an absurd amount of time and effort towards this and I doubt that most of them thought there was a chance this would be successful. Seems like a joke more than anything.

It's more funny than anything else. I don't think the majority of those who signed the petition actually thought he would get deported. It does good to my heart to see that many Americans showing such good taste though. Annoying kid.

Perhaps the petition never had a chance at passing, but it still makes a statement. Americans are tired of JB'S immature antics. Maybe this will help the kid figure it out. It's unlikely, but worth a shot.

A petition to send a kid back to his country.

Great, these people have shown how useless we are as Americans once again.

Why is everyone so aggressive about Bieber? If you don't like him, just ignore him and don't talk about him. Simple.

I think the problem is that it's kinda hard not to talk about someone who acts the way Bieber does. I mean, he said Anne Frank, a victim of one of the worst mass genocides in human history, would have been a belieber.

Have you even read the Diary of Anne Frank? Anne comes across as someone who wants to be a normal teenage girl.

Fun fact, teenage girls are Biebers main demographic. It's entirely likely that Anne Frank would've been a 'Belieber' and mentioning that isn't that offensive a thing.

Anon can get a bit ridiculous.

Also, the response was predictable the moment the petition was opened.

Why We Can't Comment

Thank you for signing this petition. We appreciate your participation in the We the People platform on Whitehouse.gov. However, consistent with the We the People Terms of Participation and our responses to similar petitions in the past, the White House declines to comment on this petition because it requests a specific law enforcement action.

And if that was the actual case, the Internet would have spewed comments along the lines of "she deserved to go to Auschwitz".
