That I didn't go to. Because I don't think I cared in 2010. I never clicked on the Minecraft videos until a couple years later. Now I play it sometimes.

I know it's safe, what I meant was, my information is pre-set on it, so that I don't re-enter it every time I use minechat. If minechat didn't work, it means that my minecraft login information was changed. Since I didn't change my login info, this means someone else did it. Which means that my account was probably stolen.

So through having a friend that's really good at command blocks but can't build for shit, I am halfway to earning a mapmaker cape (Given out to people who have multiple maps added to Realms). Map isn't live yet, but its been approved.

Cool. Mapmaking has really grown since 1.7. I've tried building maps, but using command blocks is really difficult when you try to get complex about it.

1.9? I think it is revolutionary for mapmakers and vanilla modders, but doesn't really do much for gameplay. I'm sort of hesitant to update to 1.9 in full, since I enjoy being able to spam kill mobs.

It seems to me it's better than jumping around something and spamming whatever button one uses to swing their sword at it. Though, how the shield functions might be a bit weird, considering Minecraft.

Since it seemed like such a big update for the PC, I can only hope for banners on my PS3 version. :meh:

Honestly my favorite part of the combat mechanics revamp was watching the pvp community try to defend spamming the mouse button as minecraft's core gameplay and acting that changing that would be the death of the game. They're almost as funny as the small handful of mapmakers who consider what they do "game development".

The core gameplay is mining cubular rocks, crafting hoes, and watching grass grow. There's even a Peaceful Mode where you don't need no damned sword for anything but animal slaughtering. It's just a part of the gameplay of MineCraft, a name which says just about almost everything about the game.

In a stretch of the abstract thought processes, it's kinda game development. Ya know, Minecraft is like programming with Java or something, and they're creating a world with it's own story.

I know Java. I know (Some) command blocking. Command block programming is nothing like Java. Game development is only marginally similar to minecraft map making.

I wish I was better at command blocks, but know I can't put in the time to learn how to use them at the moment, and I've already got a pile of things I want to get done.

Well, 1.10 is out! Pretty quick development, although most of the new stuff is not all that game-changing.

So I found a cave in my mine... might be endless, haven't found an endpoint after 2 days of searching.

Also, lava.

For about three or so years, abandoned mineshafts were death traps for me. Now, whenever I want to raid a mineshaft, I go in decked out and ready to kick ass.

You just don't know what's around the corner, ultimately. Things can drop down on you, an arrow out of the dark, a freshly placed torch instantly exposing a hostile face. The ambient sounds, the moans and clatter of bones, the clsksk of the spider. A set of red eyes, an imagining of something in the dark far away. My mind wanders. And my eyes see it.

One has to be ready for poisonous spiders, creeper explosions, getting caught in a waterfall with zombies. And lava. Lava can kill anyone unprepared and who is not cautious.
