That I didn't go to. Because I don't think I cared in 2010. I never clicked on the Minecraft videos until a couple years later. Now I play it sometimes.

Then it's a lie. Everything Fox News says is a lie.
Even true things once said on Fox News become lies.

It seems to me it's better than jumping around something and spamming whatever button one uses to swing their sword at it. Though, how the shield functions might be a bit weird, considering Minecraft.
Since it seemed like such a big update for the PC, I can only hope for banners on my PS3 version.

Honestly my favorite part of the combat mechanics revamp was watching the pvp community try to defend spamming the mouse button as minecraft's core gameplay and acting that changing that would be the death of the game. They're almost as funny as the small handful of mapmakers who consider what they do "game development".

The core gameplay is mining cubular rocks, crafting hoes, and watching grass grow. There's even a Peaceful Mode where you don't need no damned sword for anything but animal slaughtering. It's just a part of the gameplay of MineCraft, a name which says just about almost everything about the game.
In a stretch of the abstract thought processes, it's kinda game development. Ya know, Minecraft is like programming with Java or something, and they're creating a world with it's own story.

I know Java. I know (Some) command blocking. Command block programming is nothing like Java. Game development is only marginally similar to minecraft map making.

After messing with it a bit and sinking about $15 into it I really started to get addicted to this puzzle, construction, action, adventure game. Now I'm hooked; when I'm not on NSG its Minecraft, when I'm unable to get online I am scheming about new things to build or new ways to use the various features of the game to build fortifications, traps, and mazes to keep the undead from entering my fortress/mine/farm/home/etc.
The of course there is the exploring the huge random generated game worlds and fighting the various creatures in hidden dungeons around the world. Or multiplayer where you get together with friends and build entire towns and cities together... in short its the best $15 I ever spent.
Is there anyone else who has experienced MineCraft? Whats your thoughts or opinions?
