*ahem* Right, I probably shouldn't be so harsh towards Quill's mother and friend, they were pretty alright. The vid has a bent made more for Quill fans than an overall presentation of the game to the wider masses, but that's not to say it isn't a pretty good presentation of the game regardless.

So what will your choices be?
According to the video you have 3 points to use, a normal ethic uses 1 point and a fanatic ethic uses 2.
Your ethics choice determine what governments you can choose from.
http://www.stellariswiki.com/Ethos
http://www.stellariswiki.com/Government
I'm thinking collectivist/militarist/xenophobe.
I'd choose a government that emphasizes war and slavery so either Divine Mandate or maybe Despotic Hegemony.
There are also traits to choose from.
http://www.stellariswiki.com/Traits
I'd go with Repugnant, Strong, Decadent, Resilient, and Adaptive.
I'll use hyperlane warp and start with Kinetic Weapons.
My species will be inspired by the fighting Uruk-hai.
The galaxy will die screaming or live in chains.
Insert your ethos, government, traits, starting tech, species and playstyle here.
