Get over yourself.

And yes.

I really really wish I could quote this in my signature.

"Every time I think of shooting a Russian ultra-nationalist, I just can't help myself by stripping naked and masturbating right there."
Played it before, after the 7th installment, it just got trite. It had okay plot, but monotonous gaming throughout the whole series.

I do wish it was a bit more realistic.

Honestly I kind of enjoy the batshit 80's action movie route it took. For realism, I wish Battlefield would put much more effort into their single player because the third installment had a great realistic atmosphere to it, mostly in the sound design, it was just fantastic.

I've never killed another human being, and I really didn't intend to, mostly for the fact that it doesn't sound like it'd be fun and I have no reason to. Violence in a videio game is nothing like violence in real life.

Just because I've been qualified as mentally sound seems to make me assume I'm not a sociopath.

You enjoy killing people because you enjoy killing people in Call of Duty. Am I saying that video games and real life are the same? No. But I think someone must have some sort of mental health issue when they get pleasure from killing people, and watching people get tortured, beaten and murdered.

Who qualified you as mentally sound? A board-certified psychologist or psychiatrist?

No COD Haters!

Anyway lets discuss.

I really hope they make a Remastered World at War I never played the game but I really hope they come out with one on the next gen consoles what do you think you?

You don't need a "remastered", Call of Duty, Call of Duty: United Offensive, and Call of Duty 2 run like butter on newer computers. Just crank the details (and edit your config file for the first CoD to force 16:9 if you use a wide screen), the number of corpses and it's still beautiful.

CoDBloPs made me hate Reznov. I didn't mind him when he was in World at War. But, something about him not being your sergeant but an insane vagrant broken by the gulag doesn't work well.

Hudson is just a malicious fucking asshole. I was glad when Menedez shot the bastard. Making you shoot your friend under the guise of "nexus target" priority was just dirty.

Yaji wrote:So who is the best COD Villain?

Tough question. Though, where are Raul Menedez and Rorke in that list?

Shepard and Irons were subtle; their tyranny was well hidden, which is a good thing for a villain. You don't suspect either. Which makes the betrayal your character faces powerful and helps drive their motivation.

I kid, the character itself was subtle is what you mean.

And I enjoyed Menendez too, he had a human side to him in his sister, which rarely is given to COD villains.

I took Irons to be a corporate for-profit unabashed capitalist. Money is everything. So, amoral but not evil. At least at first.

Yeah, Menedez is a villain but because of his human side, it's clear he's a hero to others.

This side is apparent in his interactions with his sister, and the scene where you're in control of his character in a race against time to get to the mansion. Every person he shoots is clearly a hostile, and each hostile that falls means you've saved your comrades. If it hadn't been for Mason's initial interaction with him that left him blind in one eye, the story would've played out differently.

I just couldn't get it in Blops. I mean the twist was pretty unexpected but looking back on it it doesn't make a whole lot of sense in many places. Like when he first reappears in Saigon...who killed the NVA in the room? It wasn't Mason as he couldn't possibly have done it, and Rez is a hallucination, soo....

The best COD villain by far, the evil that surpasses all of these characters, is War. That's right, i said it. War. Because haven't we had enough?

But really, Salazar from BO2. I hate him so much. He's the reason you can't get a happy ending in that game.

I Actually really loved the setting and mythos of it; taking a break from the usual mid east operations deal with a united SA invading and nearly defeating the US, leading to a WWI type stalemate on the borders. But, unfortunately nothing else really stands out about it. But yeah, definetly neat.

I'm a big fan of Call of Duty, admittedly. Especially the Modern Warfare series. And though I know many will disagree, I had the most fun with Modern Warfare 3. That game was just amazing. The first iteration of Modern Warfare as well was just astoundingly good. I've actually been theorizing writing a small fiction, telling the events of the MW series from a different perspective.

I also loved World at War. It was the last good game before the series started to become increasingly American-centric. Soap + Price were cool, but it's clear that the series has started to turn into the war hero, America fuck yeah game that Call of Duty was founded on to avoid in the first place. Especially with the last two games being American exclusive. I despise what Black Ops did to the story, though. They completely screwed up Reznov and Petrenko IMO, should have been a lot different.

Advanced Warfare, while I liked the premise, especially Kevin Spacey, had an overall boring campaign, that was, while flashy, greatly lacking in player choice. Campaign is one of the few things Black Ops II did right, we should see more things like that in the future. Meanwhile, the multiplayer is fantastic. Sledgehammer blew that one out of the water.

Too bad World at War and MW2 multiplayer has been ruin by modders when you try to play online but when you do there is someone that has godmode I wish people stop using mods and use some skills.

I use some skills like throwing C4's
Please ignore the Untied in my name it was a typo so please do not mock me about this.

People that mod the multiplayer have no skills.
