In Norse Mythology, as in the actual classical writing, not the Marvel abortion. The Thunder God Thor wears a belt called Megingjörð, which doubles Thor's already tremendous strength. When Thor wields his hammer, Mjölnir, he is wearing Megingjörð. Thor also requires the iron gloves Járngreipr to handle Mjölnir.

http://www.stabletecstudios.com/StableT ... /news.html For any of the folks over in Europe, they just released the Galacon promotional video, and our studio is the one who produced it this year. We're going to be on a panel there as well, and hope to have more things to release, gods willing.

So I am going to interject here and call this complete bullshit. I think it would be pretty damn reasonable that a gay or lesbian pony would be greatly accepted in the world of Equestria. I mean Hel, villains and generally bad ponies are forgiven and their sins forgotten in a drop of a hat. I mean Hel, Scootaloo's inability to fly wasn't even thought of until the bitch sisters brought it up in Flight To The Finish. The thought that Scootaloo was different via handicap didn't even enter into Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom's mind.
So I highly highly doubt that Twilight Velvet would have a serious problem with her daughter being in a lesbian relationship with Princess Luna.

Especially considering, gay or not, Luna's a Princess of the Realm. Whether you're elitist or not, you have to admit that having a Princess in the family is a big step up for your family. And frankly, I'd question whether or not Twilight Sr. can even legally have a problem with this.
But, I suppose there are gay characters involved; by the present laws of pop-culture, everything about them has to be some big, dramatic to-do, and their every movement, sentence, and pizza topping choice has to be some brave, defiant statement about their sexual preferences.

Whereas as I go the opposite way, and portray one as a vapid, money grubbing man-whore who don't give a damn. More people should do that.
