So, basically the Royal Guard comes to Ponyville and they have a ROTC style event headed up by their Drill Instructor (whose voice by R Lee Ermey. If you don't know who that is, just watch this. WARNING: LANGUAGE) All the ponies in town turns out to see this event, and the Guard even invites some of the ponies to try out, Rainbow Dash and Spike joins in. Here we find out what we've always known, that Spike is just terrible and a wimp, and he realizes it. This causes Spike to join up on a weekend event and Rainbow Dash does as well, shenanigans ensues and Spike learns how to actually stop being terrible and it actually carries on throughout the rest of the series.
