There's a different between being uninterested in hip-hop and claiming to despise all hip-hop besides parody videos on YouTube.

But I fucking despise most of it. Mumford and Sons, the Black Keys, and Adele are the only 'new' artists that I like. Other is either meh, in the case of AWOLNATION, or absolute fucking rage at One Direction.

Music ≠ the charts. Did Black Sabbath build their career off of chart-topping pop hits? No, so be consistent with your standards.

Everyone who vocally hates rap does so based on stereotypes, which bothers me especially because I used to do the same thing. Now I love hip-hop.

Most people I know listen to really bad music that is made using computers, not talent and musical instruments.

Synthesizers and other electronic means of creating music do require talent. This was created on a computer and it's incredibly complex. This is based around analog synths and it's incredibly evocative and mysterious, with an amazing melody.
