So, my first ruler as the af Munso is on the verge of death, and so far, things are pretty good. I've become King of Sweden and am two counties away from creating the Kingdom of Norway. I've helped the Danish create a foothold in England in preparation to invade them upon their next war. The Rurikovich's are pleasantly in my camp and allied through several marriages. Raided around a bit, assassinated a few Karlings to create blobs in Europe, and all in all I'm having fun.

So i just picked up Hearts of Iron 3, any recomendations on countries to play? I have seen Lp after LP of the game and i am a average player

So I just forced Rhaska (Serbia) into a PU (I am Byzantium). Was that a good move? This is the first time I used the claim throne thingy and won so I have no idea on how it work.

I just saw Venice kicking Rhaska's ass and I checked if they wanted to ally with me, that way I would be able to attack Venice. Unfortunately before I even got the time to ally with them, Venice annexed like half of it. So I check the diplomatic section and see that I can claim thrones. So, since they have no army, I did (and then all of N.Africa attacked me, as is tradition, and then white peaced after I was done with my other war, as is tradition).

So, my relation with Serbia now are -180. Should I spend the last 50 years sending gifts? And do they want to intergrate or is it usually a rejection after rejection?

I less have PUs,but I know that the AI does actually often accept annexation via vassalisation,if the relations are high enough,so my guess would be that they also do in PUs.

I actually had some BAAAAAD experience with annexing vassals. Speaking of which I have a useless 2 provinces Armenia as my vasall.... I just let them be for now.

I have no idea. I rarely check, and I rarely save, because I get too tempted to go back and change stuff that I didn't like. But CK2 always seems to find the perfect time to crash unexpectedly.

So, is it just me or does Modern France keep getting locked into wars with the entire world for the entire game? It is gamebreaking.

Anyway, here is my Empire now:

Armenia is my bitch vasall. I am in PU with Wallachia and Rashka and for some reason a member of my dynasty is King of Bulgaria....

I have cores on that small state north of Rashka (which happens to be Serbia, lol) but it is allowed with Moscow. My problem aint their armies but then they will bring a bunch of other useless nations in the war... and even though they wont attack me, they will spam me with rebels, so fuck that.

So, my only threat right now is the Ilkhanate. So, what should I do? Make a huge army and marsh in or sponsor rebels and wait for it to fall?
