According to the Russian ambassador to France the second pilot was picked up by the Syrian army

Lets hope that's true so those disgusting Turks and their "brothers" can't get their hands on him.

I'm pretty sure that calling Turkish people disgusting is trolling.

It's a borderline case given that 'disgusting' could equally apply to the Turkish military or Turkish government in the context of the thread; it's not at all clear that it's being applied to the Turkish people generally, and expressing disgust with Turkish state institutions is an entirely legitimate argument in this specific case.

I will look at the individual's posting record to see if other posts offer any context I can use to judge this more clearly. If no context is forthcoming - and the individual concerned has no existing record of actionable behaviour - I will issue a strong informal warning to be careful with rhetoric in this type of thread.

I'm just noting for ease of longer-term reference that he did subsequently clarify that it was the Turkish military/politicians and Turkmen militias he was characterising as 'disgusting' rather than all Turks:
