In the OP post, Kingdom of Genoa references the Keltakens, an alien race thought up by New Strauesberg in an RP that my alt nation created, which he then took control of after I was inactive for a while.

I'm not sure if this is actionable, but I think it's wrong that he didn't even ask to use the other nation's intellectual property in his history, and that he has no right to without asking due to the fact that it is in P2TM, not International Incidents.

Again, not sure if it is actionable, but just in case, I decided to report it.

It seems to me that the reported thread is a continuation of the story or theme whereby a player has taken elements from history carved in P2TM and II and applied it to his nation's history. Genoa and New Strausberg were involved in the P2TM-based RP Galatic Powerplay in May of this year. In fact, the first ever mention of them as a species is made by Strausberg in that thread. It's entirely possible that the canon Genoa is using comes from that shared RP. The xeno species are also found in the II subforum (Consolidation, Dark Space Rising, and First Contact).

The RP you claim he stole them from, The Fallen Enemies is from July of this year.

Genoa's new thread, A Deadly Discovery, references to a war and to a hero of that war. This war could have occurred in Galactic Powerplay. I'm not seeing Genoa actually "running" the Keltakens in the reported thread, unless I'm overlooking something.

Mods: some FT nations prefer to play out their nation RPs in our subforum. I can't speak for my fellow Minties, but I personally don't have any issue with the practice; P2TM allows for more handwavium elements and soft, often nonsensical scifi. Some players do treat P2TM RP canon as actual nation canon, a practice that I have never discouraged. Thus the line between P2TM and II/NS frequently becomes blurred or does not exist at all.

What I recommend is that New Strausberg chime in. The Keltaken species is their brainchild. They can clarify whether or not the history was mutually built.

While the history was somewhat mutually built, he did not ask permission or even once mention to me he was going to use the likeness of my creation. I am also currently in continuing the history of my creation. However if he is not actively using my creation and merely references them then I see no problem, I would appreciate it if he had at least told me he was going to be using them.

Edit: also it's fine for the misspellings I had to sort of create there own language and it is very easy to make misspellings, a lot of people in the first rp I used them in so no big deal :3

Sorry. I did try to get Genoa to mention Straues somewhere via TG, as did Straues himself, but he apparently thought nothing of it. Thanks for the advice.

im indeed only referencing them, i use the canon from P2TM because FT wise II i cant pull from much so it fills that gap
