Isn't ganga marijuana? I don't think people fertilize fields with illegal drugs....

I am generally tolerant but this man has crossed all limits he called the river ganga, marijuana and an illegal drug, you need to take strict action against this

Marijuana is illegal in my country (Canada) and kids call it ganga as slang. I didn't know it was a river as well.

"Ganja" is slang for marijuana, not to be confused with the river Ganges (or more commonly referred to by Hindi as "Ganga").

I think this is a mere misunderstanding more than anything.

Common slang, not actionable.

Calling the ganga names is actionable in order to incite is actionable , I never felt more outraged than here but he was innocent since he did not know

We can't guarantee that you won't be offended by differing points of view. In this case, words do take on multiple meanings across different cultures. Example being (for me), the slang "Ganja" or "Ganga" refers to a drag queen by the name of Laganja Estranja.

The thread looks fine, not locking it.

Nor this one. You may not have noticed but we don't often lock Moderation threads.
