[Question] Suicide Sticky

I have been here for awhile and I have seen locked threads with people talking about suicide. If I may ask... What made you all (mods) sticky a suicide assistance (informational) thread?

Edit: I have noticed that things that are stickied are due to hot topics or serious issues. I haven't noticed a huge increase in threads.

It was felt that if we have posters here who are feeling suicidal, the BEST thing for us to do is to provide them (Or their friends) with information so that hey can contact their local suicide helpline.

there's no rule as far as i know about what a [Question] is so i'm taking it be more [Discussion] than [Report]. i didn't want to pre-empt the mods answer but since it's done the sticky was added a few days later they decided a thread about mental health was not a good idea. reploid productions post at the end is probably pretty important for understanding the whys re: suicide topics and that sticky.
