Netanyahu strode quickly into the high command meeting room, accompanied by several aides, a few captains, and other officers. "General Mikhail, no, no, don't sit down, I want Markus' son in here immediately. I need someone to get me the nuclear access. And I want everyone to know that I have assumed regency under Contingency Order 83-99."

He fumbled with the stack of papers for a moment. "We," he said, "will be removing Emperor Markus from his prison cell, tonight. He will be brought back here quickly, and mark this -- the entire air force will be escorting him. I need full access to our WMD arsenal. I understand we have a few weapons in reserve. If they attempt to take the Emperor back, we will use them as leverage."

Prince Markus IV walked into the room. "Benjamin."

"Markus, Markus, have a seat m'boy. Here, at the table. Son, we are going to restore your father to power immediately. You have led the nation well for the last several days. Of course it is not your time to rule, you see, your father is a great leader who each of us serve with diligence. Are you prepared now, to step aside?"

Markus looked at him. "Of course General."

Benjamin patted him on the cheek. "Good man. Now, under Contingency Order..." he scanned through the papers, "74, 80, 83-99 and...90-01, I am authorized to relieve you of your military duties and restrict you to political authority alone. Do you understand?"

"Of course."

"Imperial decree written on the 5 October 1997 authorizes you to object to this. Do you object?"

"General." Markus sighed. "I haven't a single objection. To tell you the truth, I know little of military strategy."

Benjamin laughed. "We shall certainly have to correct that before I ever let you sit on your father's throne!"

Markus raised an eyebrow, and then laughed. "Yes you will. I haven't a clue."

Suddenly red lights filled the room and a low alarm bell began to ring. "What's happening?" asked Markus with concern.

Benjamin and others were nonchalant. "It is a sign that we are moving to DEFCON 2. At DEFCON 1 it's like a war is going on in here. It is quite loud. Besides, we are mobilizing the Imperial Air Force."

It is clearly stated within the thread rules that there are no interventions via military forces allowed.

And he's expressed his opinion on how the RP is being conducted. Your next move should have been to say, "That's how it is, no war and certainly no nuclear war, end of story." I don't see this as being a Moderation issue unless he refuses to abide by your ruling. I do not get the impression that he'll do that.

He has already done so twice before that violation:
