Cora meant it as a comment to your lack of expertise in GP;your posts are mostly outside of GP - GP fora see less posting then F7 or RP

Some context - Coraxian's first language isn't English - her posts aren't always entirely clear, and there have been a few cases of her using poor phrasing that comes across as an insult but wasn't meant that way. Ultimately that's not an excuse for baiting others - it's your responsibility what you post, but it's something to bear in mind.

In this particular case, I'd consider it non-actionable. Blood Wine's post above is probably the correct way of reading the post - Coraxian was commenting on your lack of gameplay experience.

I've read over the last few pages of the thread, and handed out some warnings here. The thread is staying locked for a few hours to allow people to calm down.

Finally - Blood Wine, this is a report thread. See:

In [Report] threads, the original poster, the player defending him or herself, anyone with useful information in the sense of links to evidence, and the moderation team may post. "I agree!" "I don't think it's a big deal!" or any sort of gloating is still not allowed.

Your posts do not fall under what is allowed - you may be a participant in the reported thread, but you were not reported here. You were also not adding useful information (links to evidence), and your last post in particular appears to be little more than chatty commentary. I'm afraid I'm going to have to *** warn you for spamming in Moderation *** which is a pity, as your conduct in the reported thread was fine.

I have to kinda disagree with the warning here Sedge - though I understand where you're coming from

While the second post was commentary in a sense - the first and last post where helpful,explaining cora's post and noting the thread lock(so that new reports don't pile up in the thread if someone feels inclined to report) - both I'm heavily involved with



As a final sidenote - I'm happy I'm finally getting more inside the rules,I hope you understand I never break rules on purpose - some things just come across stupidly (like the FRA thing that cost me Port Blood)

I would ask for clarification as to whether Dutch Coolness falls under the same category as Cora, in the sense that he/she possibly speaks English as a second language. It comes across as trolling, but if it is a second language thing then I have definitely been misreading it and would obviously adjust communications accordingly.

Eh,sure if someone wants to take a look at it - with me not being warning about the thread itself and that I don't see this as spam-spam I'd rather have it rescinded

You are aware of the rules regarding this. And some of the posts were not adding useful information to the report.

I would ask for clarification as to whether Dutch Coolness falls under the same category as Cora, in the sense that he/she possibly speaks English as a second language. I would argue that there are no special rules for people who use English as their second language.

I speak it as a second language myself.

If you want to argue about this, I would suggest starting a discussion topic.

It's always possible. Hence, a best practice is to read careful and not jump to conclusions.

I understand the rules do not differ, but I am concerned that as with Coraxion, certain subtleties that are portrayed in English may not be intentional. I am absolutely not in the habit of making fun of people for how they speak, purely for what they mean. I understand too that this can be utilised deliberately as well as happen unintentionally.

I'm sadly cognizant that I may sometimes use un-intentionally word, terms and tone in way which can be easily considered as acts against flaming/baiting/trolling rules of NS-Forums.

Then Because I play a role of 'Illiterate barbarian purist raider merc from Northern Mountains of Cimmeria' in Gameplay R/D trying perform as a role of TBR raid Secretary, Historian and Watch guard for TBR's thread best way I can, there often may happen I use intentionally harsh sounding words and expressions as I think they are suitable for my taken role to a certain degree. I always try think how my rants may be seen by random reader, and accidents may happen when trying figure out correct use of language, not native to me.

However, My rants are not ever directed against anybody in person (RL person playing as a Nation). If I get warning I won't complain about it if it would made clear where I made mistake. That way I and also others can learn not to make such mistakes again.

It is not particularly easy play this role.
