ISIS Flags (again)

Postby Neoconstantius » Sun Sep 14, 2014 12:45 pm

Recently, Austria has instituted a ban on the display of Islamic State/ISIS/ISIL flags and symbology, akin to that barring the display of Nazi symbology, which is often cited as one of the primary reasons Nazi flags are not allowed here. Given that some of the NS membership may access the site from Austria, do these recent legal changes impact at all the ruling allowing ISIS flags delivered in this thread?

Thanks.

poland, hungary, latvia etc. ban the hammer and sickle but that doesn't seem to matter either. it's basically barry or bust as far as i know.

No, it doesn't change it. Also, the legality of the swastika in Austria (or other countries) is not the reason for it being illegal on this site.

Finally, this doesn't fulfil the criteria for a discussion thread - I'll remove that from your thread title.
