Why was my flag deleted?

I have been using this flag without issue for about 4 years now, but today it was suddenly deleted for being an image that is "likely to cause widespread offense." Seeing at it's a shape that I made up, I don't see how it could possibly offend someone unless they just have a problem with me personally.

I think it's because if you look closely you can see swastikas. They're very well hidden, really.

Well that's not what it's supposed to be, it's just a stylized outline of a reptilian forehead. -.-

The geometry is too perfect for it to be incidental. Definitely intentional swastika-smuggling.

I didn't notice them either at first. But after a few seconds, I managed to find the swastikas.

I'm not seeing the problem with a couple of hindu symbols... ._.; Seriously, the swastika was not owned by the National Socialist party no matter how much they might wish to claim it. The design was prevalent before the Third Reich, is it NationStates policy to censor those images as well? (Just asking for clarification).

The fact that you need to look for them should be a decent sign that they aren't there or at least not intended.

It could be unintentional, but nonetheless it still had them.

Not entirely sure.
Plus, not everybody knows that the swastika was a Hindu symbol.
However, everyone DOES know that the swastika was used by Hitler for the Nazi regime.
Strange but true. Not everyone is interested in the land of India (unless if they're trolling for hackers to...well... troll)

At first, Rhina, I was confused too, because all I thought was "That's a shape?"

Then I saw the swastikas. I'm not sure if it is there by design or accident, but it can cause offense.

Okay the bottom line is, I've been using it (and on several puppets still am) for four years without incident, including while directly interacting with the mods. My question is why, if the image is actually offensive, is it only being deleted now?

Mods don't notice every little detail. How do you think there's still people that troll on here? Because the mods either don't know about them or they don't pay much attention to them.

Moderation has said COUNTLESS times that all Swastikas are banned and it isn't changing any time soon.

This is a report thread, despite the lack of a tag.

Anyway, gameside issues, like a flag deletion should be done gameside.

I lock this.

Another mod may feel free to warn/ban people if needed. I'm at work and can't spend too much time doing mod work.

Why bother lying in your report? It's not relevant to whether your appeal will be successful.

You had that flag since September 22, 2013.
