We had a simular run-in with the poster on the JOLT boards after the Mods left. When politely asked to delete his trollish spam from the Thread by TG, he responded with a (paraphrased) "No, and the Mods can't make me". I cannot remember if I kept the Telegram but the post was surgically removed by reporting it to the JOLT staff.

Not sure if this matters other than showing a possible past history and an unwillingness to cooperate.

EDIT: The TG is still in my box if it is needed.

To be fair I only did that because Jolt really no longer matters.

Suicide by mod is what I like to call this travesty. Now, be a good little child and leave the forum to the adults who understand the principle of following the rules.

Maybe people should listen a little to what he's really saying. There is a reason why he's acting like this.

There's a reason greater than 99% of our user base are not acting like that.

You call it a problem. We call it our standards. As you're certainly spending so much money to use our resources, I can understand how you'd have a problem with following our standards when playing in our playground.

I really don't understand why people seem so determined to waste their time and annoy other people, thats at least two such people posting round bans, and only to generaly stir trouble, I have seen within the last few weeks. Where do these people get off? It perplexes me why people even bother to sign-up for things like NS when all they seek to do is act like idiots.

Don't worry, I still can afford an internet account and less than 1% is used for Nationstates.

You don't understand it. We, the users are the resources. We deliver the content and interact with each other. You, you are just a supplier of a framework.

Or by allowing that people may create postings about the great Mussolini and create a justification for fascism at the same time?

Maybe he deserved the death penalty, but instead of reacting normative, you could have asked, before he went berserk, in private: 'why are you doing this?'.

Maybe he lost his job, wife or child. Maybe he's diagnosed with Mexican flu. Maybe he had his first homosexual contact and as a conservative is still confused. I don't know. What I want to say maybe there are external causes.

And if it is Nationstates related, maybe he's mad because Nationstates is becoming more a kind of YouTube without the videos: Tons of posters, but not much to say. And the mods aren't doing a lot, because they count the quantity of users and postings. Not the quality.

Okay people, problem's dealt with, bickering about the standard operating procedure for ban evasion isn't going to change anything, and let's not gloat over the DEAT.

Annnnd, players who don't care for the style of moderation or the insistence on following the rules are always welcome to start their own site or find one that suits them better.
