As a longtime poster in that thread, and as someone whom has membership to what very easily would be considered a "militia" by people who are uneducated on the subject matter, I very much don't appreciate being refereed to as a "tactitard" by any stretch of means. If moderation would like proof to my claim to verify my point, Moderation is free to TG me at any point about it.

I think a great many of us consider ourselves part of the 'unorganized' militia. It was clear to me, anyway, that you were referring to people who owned weapons and consider themselves a 'miltia' to be tactitards. perhaps even general gun owners who collect or prepare for shtf scenarios. 'tactitards' didn't seem directed necessarily at people engaged in active guerilla war or of the opinion that it was feasible against the U.S. military.

I don't know how long you've been using the 'honey' line, but at the time, i thought it was somewhat condescending. especially calling people who think, in their opinion, that a militia could face off in a guerilla war with the U.S. military 'delusional'.

Tactitard was referring to wanna be soldier types that often frequent the more official 'militia' types and are probably on several government watch lists. Besides, people make blanket comments about 'gun grabbers' all the time. Thats just as 'offensive' and 'bait-y' as calling people tactitards.
