I hope not. If this works I'll make a bunch of parodies.

The deletion of your 'Bread Lady Nathcana' nation last year should really have got the message across. In case it didn't: do not create parody nations of site staff members.

Is there any way to find pre-2009 threads?

They do not exist on this forum, as it was created in 2009. There's an incomplete download of the Jolt forum that we used from 2004-2009 floating around somewhere. AFAIK, there's no repository from our original 2002-2004 server, which presumably died a fiery death.

What are meta dispatches?
I speak UK English, and my level is mediocre so I may need your guidance (if any).

Is it possible to set the background of a dispatch as my nation's flag? If so, how?

What is the character limit for the WFE? I seem to be getting messages telling me that mine is too long. Is it a characters limit, or a line limit?

It's a character limit. Wasn't it something like 180? BBCode not included. Whatever the exact limit...it needs increasing. In the Sovereign Charter we use ours to help people navigate our region. Rather than just as a text entry about the Sovereign Charter. To be fair, it would contain more information... but there's no other way to enable our citizens to navigate the region in an effective and user friendly fashion.

Put the navigational information in a 'pinned' dispatch, with an explanation in the WFE that that's what the dispatch is for?

I'm all for that and in fact, could I ask that the administrators consider redirecting all http requests to https?

Believe it or not, not everyone is accessing the game with https being an available option. Just like some people have legitimate reasons to use a proxy.

At the end of viewtopic.php?p=4718947#p4718947, the link to NSwiki is practically dead due to recent events.

Tell me then, What are Balder and Osi for? :P

TRR is for ejected nation, not refounds.

TRR is for ejected nation, not refounds.

Lazarus, Balder and Osiris are for refounded nations. Balder and Osiris started in 2011 to relieve size issues in Lazarus.

TRR has a sinker tag.

Sinkers are regions where you can either be resurrected or relocated after ejection. It didn't seem to make sense to create a separate tag for a single region.

Yet another reason why you should not attempt to provide advice to others when you clearly do not understand many of the basic facts about this game. Please stop giving advice in Technical and Moderation. You clearly don't know what you're talking about.
