Is it possible to change the name of a nation?

At the beginning of this FAQ:

Can Mods change my nation name?
No, they cannot.

The game code uses a nation's name as its ID, an unfortunate design decision that we are stuck with. Renaming a nation would break all references to it in regions, player Dossiers, the WA, etc.

As such, if you have a typo in your nation name, you have 2 (obvious) options:
(1) Create a new nation *without* the typo to use instead.
(2) Roleplay the nation name as what you want it to be. (This selection is really your only choice if the name you want has been taken by another nation.)

However, [violet] did mention that this is being fixed. Name changes *might* therefore be possible in the future sometime, but I wouldn't hold my breath for them.

Wrong. The "missing" posts are posts that have been made in Forum 7. Posts in F7 don't count towards post count so that one cannot raise their post count to one of status just by posting "borderline spam" in Forum 7...

HINT: You should see how many posts I have in F7 <--- last time I checked, it was 94.6%

My friend can't log in to his account. It says his password is wrong, although he knows it was right and keeps putting it in, it still won't take it. He never inputed his email, so is there anyway to fix it?

If he never added his email and can't find his correct password, then unfortunately not.

I've been trying to change my flag to a .gif file (I've seen both mods and regular players with them). However, despite resizing it to be 168kb, and even to the exact dimensions of another, working .gif file, it's coming out as an unmoving .png, does anyone have any advice on how to get my .gif moving?

EDIT: if anyone's curious, the .gif it's meant to be is a resized version of this.

The size limit for GIFs to not be converted to static images is 50kb, not 168.

I used to have an old account here which was part of the World Assembly but that account now no longer exists due to inactivity. When a nation Ceases To Exist (CTE), it is also removed from the WA.

Has regional happenings been changed to not show failed attempts to move into a passworded region? I just tried moving an alt in but deliberately getting the password wrong, and there's nothing about it on the regional happenings.

It only does so if one fails a couple of times in a certain time window. We allow one to fail once or twice without having to endure public ridicule for forgetting a password

Could I suggest adding a link to the WA category guide to the WA section? I quite often see questions about category effects in this forum.
