God, no. Not the USSR. We've got enough trouble distinguishing between the 5million USSR ripoffs without them all having the same bloody flag.

I like having the non-country flags as options. Those add a little extra flavour. Kinda dismayed that RL countries, such as Germany, have been left off though.

Any flags that they can add be it an actual country now or in the past is great. The more the better in my opinion. Why not have more choices?

Given the amount of flags and the option to customise, I'm slightly surprised that this seems to be causing a lot of controversy...

Now that it's been established that the flags of some current nations are missing, does anyone feel like coming up with a definitive list of those that have been omitted?

Sealand is serious business.

Seems like both Congos, Germany, Haiti, and Jamaica are missing. Taiwan wouldn't hurt and China could be listed as "China".

EDIT: I just found the two Congos.

What happened to China?

And how about Scotland? Aye lad, Scotland was my favorite flag.

EDIT: Never mind, I found them both. China is called "Republic of China" now.

A question, though: Why is Malta listed as the Sovereign Order of Malta? It makes it more difficult to find. You get the same with China PRC, and the two Congos.

I don't think the Sovereign Military Order of Malta is Malta. They have different flags, see? The ones listed are the remnants of the Knights of Saint John.

No, both the sovereign order and ordinary malta are there.

I don't see the problem with having a few extra default flags, and if one that's not essential is missing, there's always the option to custom upload it.
