What I'm not seeing is what benefit a flag in a "post" is when your own flag shows up right to the left of either your post on a WFE or your telegram to another nation. Whose flag are you showing if not your own?

I wouldn't question the creativity of NS players, I'm sure some use will come out of it in a few weeks. The biggest use of the flag so far I've seen , atleast post-wise, is in RMB Ads - the flag & nation link represents the nation that they play as in their recruiting region. The flag makes the ad look official.

And as a feederite, I'd say it adds clutter. Their flag doesn't need to be posted twice, it's still right there to look at on the left side.
