[Q] New swanky WA pages

UPDATE: This is an attempt at recreating the G/SC Flags, [violet]. One thing that tripped me up was the GA flag was actually colorized more after I originally submitted it, giving it that deep sapphire hue. Probably the only major deviance is the WA symbol is less Zoom:Blur'd but I have to go to town now. I've got the layers saved...

This page looks very strange when the page simply cuts off. It should have some padding after the bottom that makes sure that the page has some whitespace after the lines. https://www.nationstates.net/page=UN_de ... /council=1

The no-resolution-at-vote message should probably be in some kind of box or something. Perhaps a link to current proposals might be nice too, so people could see that they can approve.

Apparently the maximum length for the titles of submitted proposals has been increased, too.
Any other changes that people have noticed?

Historical resolutions now have parchment background, which is different from the last time I looked at them (though that was admittedly quite some time ago).

Hmmm... I'm not a fan of skeuomorphism at that level. Something more subdued would look better, I think.

I did recreate the WA logo a few years back because the original was so low-res I couldn't adapt it for anything. The original (as seen in the green flag on the main WA page) has one leg in front of the other and isn't quite symmetrical in places, while the newer version is an SVG, so scales nicely to any size, as seen in the sidebar.

It's at least 48 characters now, as one of the current proposals is "Improvements To The Education Systems Of Nations".

Edit: Just tested it, the maximum it will allow me to enter is 52 characters.

I'd also note that the WA proposals now use 'Repeal: "Resolution Name"' rather than the old 'Repeal "Resolution Name"' for the auto-generated resolution names.

To be fair, they're more like requests than reports. But I do think the new look needs some help at the design level.

For the Historical Resolutions, the text in the link is wrong. There is no NSUN Resolution 0.

Hehe, that's an old bug. Almost nostalgic.

As another idea for the "swanky WA pages," perhaps it would be better if the pie graphs used the names of regions rather their delegates since the names of delegates is provided in the list below and the delegates are only voting with multiple votes as the representatives of their regions.

Yes, absolutely! Minor cosmetic issues get pushed down the priority list by functionality demands, unfortunately, especially when they're aesthetic opinions where people have different ideas. But there will probably be another tidy-up in the new year.

It appears that nobody's acted on the look of the horizontal vote graphic on the WA pages in the Antiquity theme. Instead of looking like they do on other themes, they end up as an utter mess.
