Redditers on our forums!? This is an outrage, we need to get a deportation force ready immediately. We need to build a wall between nationstates and Reddit so no more can come in, and they're gonna pay for it. Believe me, they're not sending their best.

Back in my day playing M&B Warband Napoleonic Wars we used to make the redditors form their own line infantry formation and target them with 19te cannons.

About to un-pin this as the spawn rates appear to be back down to normal.

For the record, the first bump last Monday was caused by am Imgur post making it to the front page; we had a lot of traffic coming in from there. The much larger spike Tuesday was the result of a Reddit thread that got massively upvoted that happened to include a link to Nationstates; the webstats stuff was showing the overwhelming majority during the rush as coming to NS from a link on Reddit. The flood subsided after the person who posted the link apparently felt bad about hitting us with the flood, and deleted their comment containing the link.

Maybe we should be encouraging them more to try the forums, no?

One can only go so long on gameside before it becomes repetitive, even with the crudload of issues we have for them.

Some may not have interest and only want to play, but others simply may have no idea where to start and are intimidated to even post.
