[REQUEST] Marking Telegrams As Delivered And Read

A popular thing in messaging apps is the fact that messages will first show up as "Delivered". This means the message you just sent to someone has arrived at its destination but has yet to be read. Obviously, if the message shows up as "Read", the message has been seen by the recipient. I think adding this to the TG system would be useful for those of us who use TG on a very, very regular basis.

"Delivered" and "Read" already show up on the delivery reports of mass TGs. "Read" just only shows up with 1000+ recipients.

I'm aware of this. But I think expanding that to individuals would be greatly appreciated.

That's not done for privacy reasons. Whether or not a specific person has read your telegram is private. You may ask (in the same telegram) for a confirmation of the other person having read it.
