Hey, its been over 24 hours since I've made my nation, no new issues have been given and the initial ones haven't been processed. Population hasn't increased either yet nations in my name region made hours following mine have, what's going on?

You likely changed to Vacation Mode http://www.nationstates.net/page=faq#vacation

Your most likely not receiving issues because the issues might be turned off for your account

First thing I looked at and vacation mode is unchecked and never has been.

Your most likely not receiving issues because the issues might be turned off for your account

Account settings are set to issue two per day and vacation mode is disabled.

Those have been my settings since I made the nation, I never accidentally disabled issues or checked vacation mode. I should've gotten two issues, my issues from yesterday resolved and a pop bump but i haven't.

Contact the admins?

If that's the case, then it's probably some sort of bug or error

Might be due to your changing region. That changes your nation update time iirc

Doesn't explain how other nations that joined the region with younger nations, after I did have all had their pop and issues updated.

Is there a support ticket-esque way I could get an admin's attention or do I just message one?

Sometimes the game can get a little confused, and it looks on closer inspection that this is the case here. Your nation lists you as being in Aethion, however I'm not seeing your nation listed in the region. Try moving to another region, and then back into Aethion. That should hopefully "jiggle the handle" so that the region knows you're actually in it so your nation will be processed with the rest at the next update.

It sounds like you surfed the update. Basically, all the regions don't update at the same time. If, during the update, you move from a region that hasn't updated yet to a region that already has, your nation will skip that update.

In EST the updates are 12:00Am-1:00Am and 12 hours later 12:00PM-1:00 each region has their own specific update time between those time periods, some nations update later than that

I made the nation at about 2PM EST and joined the region soon there after.

Regions I meant

I normally wouldn't care about missing a day of issues but I'm in an RP where nation stats are relevant and i'm now put at a 1-2 update disadvantage now.

You're at a 700 issue disadvantage against nations who joined a year before you....
