API Question: Who are the WA Nations in my region.

Postby Rhyphix » Sun Mar 29, 2015 5:42 pm

With a region of 600 nations, finding all the WA nations can be daunting. How can I use the API to get a quick easy list of all WA nations in my region? Is there a link or something I can plug in to get this list?

*I ask because going through the entire list of nations is very daunting. And I am confused about the API shards and how to use them.

You can ask the API the list of all WA nations, and the list of all nations in the region. Nations which appear on both lists are WA nations in your region.

But Ballo, that'd require googling to find something to cross-check two lists for common elements :P
Here's the shard for the nations in your region, Rhy - https://www.nationstates.net/cgi-bin/ap ... &q=nations
and for all WA - https://www.nationstates.net/cgi-bin/ap ... &q=members

You could also look up your nation on NSDossier and then sort by WA status: http://nsdossier.texasregion.net/main.aspx
