Not properly logging out.

Dear Mods,

When I log out of Nationstates...or Click the Logout button or "Switch". I expect it to do just that. Instead what I am currently getting (Firefox 36) is...

I go to forums while logged in as a puppet.
I find a thread I want to post in.
Edit: I open up a seperate tab so that I don't lose the topic I want to post in.
I use the native switch feature to switch to my primary account.
I refresh the page where I was initially logged in under the puppet.
I post.
It posts as the puppet and not as the main.

It is rather annoying as while I do post with my puppet I like to generally keep the threads seperate unless I'm in a bit of a rush in which case accidents can and do happen.

This has been a issue for ages.

The issue is that the cookie sessions for the forums (phpBB) and the main game (the main games cookies) are different. This is why you on occassion need to re-log into the games cookie session (even when you have auto-login enabled) before it will let you post on the forum; The forum cookie session is dependent on that of the main game, and may lag behind/ect.

As a result, you may end up with a issue like above, and this is rather common, I would reccomend just C+Ping the thread, going to the main site, switching, then going back.

Solution should be: after logging in on the second account, start a new forum session by clicking on the FORUM link. This takes you to the main page. Then refresh the page you had 'saved'.

In some cases no matter how much refereshing I do of the first, tab it just won't recognize that I've changed accounts and so I have to close the tab/window.

Which isn't a problem if you click on the "FORUM" link gameside after logging in with the second nation. You don't even have to log out with he prior nation.
