Possible Gmail problem

During the last couple of months I've noticed that the Apocalypse Warning' TGs for some of my puppets weren't appearing (with which ones were affected apparently random). Looking more closely at Gmail today I found that the Inbox [now] has a parallel 'Promotions' folder which I hadn't noticed before... and that those "missing" TGs had ended up there rather than -- with the others -- in the main Inbox.
So, if other people here are also using Gmail to receive such TGs for their [many?] puppets and previously weren't checking the 'Promotions' folder at all, it might be a good idea to look there at least once a week just in case...

We've had a couple of missing "lost password" requests from Gmail lately, so it's possible that the folks at Google are analyzing the content and finding similarities. They then decide we're a "promotional company", which is apparently not quite automatically spam.

This is something GMail has decided to do automatically. Messages it considers to belong in certain categories get sorted in sub-folders automatically and do not show up in your inbox anymore. You can go to your GMail settings and disable all categories except 'Primary', which will cause all messages to be delivered to your inbox per what one would normally expect.

Was just about to post something similar. It seems random and I have had a good number of nations CTE yet as I was receiving some emails for certain nations I was perplexed as to what was happening.

I shall go an explore my Gmail account then.

It still seems strange that they were placing some of the 'Apocalypse' TGs in that folder and others [still] in the 'Primary' inbox, with no apparent pattern for their choice, though...

Can you be more specific, are you talking about conversation view? Go to Gmail settings under which tab?

I've applied for WA on this nation and even waiting after 20 minutes authorization didn't arrive in gmail. After that I switched to Yahoo mail and it was there in 1 minute. Something is wrong between Gmail with NationStates.

EDIT: Checked again. It did ultimately arrive in Gmail but after a good half an hour. I don't remember it being that slow in the past.
