[SUGGESTION] Character Counter in Sig Editor

Basically suggesting that a counter be placed in that empty space outside of the sig-editing box...

PROS:
I) Easier to know how many or how few characters are left
- Player will know when to stop adding stuff to their signature
- Player will know that they can replace bits
- Better than repeatedly previewing or (attempting to) submit the signature to see if the character limit has been reached (especially for those with slower connections)

CONS:
I) Probably a lot of work for the Techies
II) Some people may find it pointless
- Suggestion near-trivial for those with faster conections

Feel free to point anything out that I have missed!

Nope. The current system tells you what characters your sig has when your over the limit ( well at least to my knowledge)

That's only after you preview or (attempt to) submit it... It could be a problem for those with slow connections...

Their is a phpbb mod that includes that. I think it also includes a forum post counter.
