Dismissal Possibility Affected My Trend

Postby Grimadean » Fri Jan 09, 2015 9:31 pm

I was checking my trends regularly and found that it dropped twice, but there was only one of two issues that chose an option. The other I dismissed.

I double-checked by reading my overview to see if there was a little phrase as a result of my choices and there was only the one issue that resulted in a new phrase. The dismissed issue did not create a new phrase on the overview.

Still, my trend (for civil rights) dropped twice with a single issue or dropped with a single issue and a dismissed one.

Does each new trend change mean an issue (therefore there is a problem because the dismissal shouldn't do that) or can two trend changes be a representation of one day (because we have two updates a day, but then why not one solid trend drop instead of two)?

Someone mentioned technical to me, so I brought the topic over here.

Dismissed issues CANNOT affect your trend lines. They get dismissed. Nothing happens to your nation. As you're not in the WA, all changes are due to some issue somewhere that you answered.

OKdok. I'll stop worrying about it then. Thank you for answering.

A little clarification about the trend graphs: each step is one day. The value for each day is updated twice, once for each update. So the two steps in the past you see are covering two days in which you answered issues. The right-most value is the result of one or two updates (the latter one being the final value for that step) depending on when during the day you look at that trend graph.
