Apparently i have gotten a telegram but when i try to read it. It comes up "You do not have permission to view this telegram."


why is that ?

This is a bug. Noone should have messages they cannot read. Can you be more specific: which telegram are you referring to? Link to it, or mention sender+time. If you don't want to post either in public, please file a GHR with the details at https://www.nationstates.net/page=help

I'm baffled, because according to the system you don't even have that telegram. Are you referring to another nation? Did you remove the telegram from your inbox after posting this?

I've added a bunch of explanatory text to the "You can't view this telegram" page, since I'm now confident that what's happening is people are following a Notice from the Rift theme to a telegram that was auto-purged from their Inbox.
