[Bug] Suddenly, chaos.

I was posting in the Gameplay forum without any issues, for a few hours. When I went back to the main page, I found it all kinds of messed up. My player menu has loaded every other minute in the white box on the left side, but other than that, the rest of the glitch stays the same.

Anyone that can help, or am I now trapped in GlitchStates forever?

What browser are you using? The usual first steps to troubleshooting is "Try a different browser and see if it still happens" and/or "clear your cookies/cache and reload."

Now, it's not happening on any browser, including my original one (Chrome).

I didn't change anything between when I left with it still occurring, and when I came back with it gone.

If the glitch comes back for whatever reason, I'll follow the steps you provided and see what that does.

When you see this happening again, the first thing to try is refresh: CTRL-F5. This will reload the whole page and check against there being a network hiccup causing you to watch partially downloaded page (in particular the layout/style file not being fully downloaded).

I actually refreshed a few times as soon as the bug occurred, as well as turning off NS++, and turning off all of my browser add-ons. I could still reproduce the bug at the time.
I'm still waiting for a recurrence of the bug to test new troubleshooting methods, though.

For some reason you temporarily weren't able to load content from http://www.nationstates.net, but only forum.nationstates.net. Could have been a hiccup at our end, or yours, or somewhere in between. It's not really a bug, just life on the internet.
