Can you "Friend" other Nations in any way?

1) Find the nation you want to friend on the forums.

2) Click on their nation name (not flag).

3) Select "Add Friend".

4) Click "Yes".

As well as doing that for the forum, on gameplay side of things, you can keep track of nations and regions that you want to well. It's not called "friending" them, but it's similar.
If you go to a nation or region that you wish to keep track of, go to their page, and you will see a button called "Add %%Nation or region name here%% to dossier (on the nation page, it's at the bottom, above their endorsements and next to the "telegram nation" button. Region pages have it under the WFE).

Now, when you want to get to them quickly, you go to your dossier (link on the left of the page on desktop, on the drop down menu on mobile) and all your favorite nations and regions will be easily found.

You can also endorse them if they're in your region.
