Ads Causing Viruses

I know I brought up this issue before, but I'm sure that this virus was caused by accidently clicking a NS ad

NS doesn't manage its own ads, Google does it for us. While they do their best to weed out all harmful content, it is always possible that something bad will temporarily make it through. NS has no influence over that.

Two things to note:
1. Google handles the ads for a lot of websites. They're huge in this area, actually, to the point of being a widely accepted standard for website ads.
2. Everyone on the internet is and remains responsible for safeguarding their own computer. If and when you visit a harmful site, bad things may happen if you do not have appropriate safeguards in place. And, actually, you should expect any unprotected computer hooked up to the internet to be hacked within a matter of minutes, regardless of any website visited.
