Gameplay Control & Management idea

Just now I received an idea to help make gameplay and access easier for the user.

What about a full fledged Nation States app for iPad, iPhone, and android.

To me it would be way easier to access my nations this plus you could make the app to where you can access your nations offline and change and modify your factbooks without being connected.


So what say ye

Use the mobile version on your phone's browser.
Legalize owning RPG's and nuclear weapons, reinstate hanging, add in burning meat grinders, stop giving shits for airplane crashes, shut the fuck up about banning guns, the south will NOT rise again, you are just ignorant, look down on the poor, modify genetics so fat kids taste like bacon, cats are better than dogs, if you don't like what's going on in the middle east, fix it yourself, Obama is a good president, just a bad Congress, MLP is a kickass show.

I like it. However, something in me veteran bones say you aren't the first one to think this up, and the last person who attempted to gain support for this feat was never seen again. But that may just be the stomach talking instead of the brain because I forgot to eat my pudding this morning. :) :lol:

Multiple threads exist on this topic. Do a search in Technical, and you'll see that at least some mobile apps exist. Others are too expensive to license.

Edit: Nationstates has a mobile site, http://m.nationstates.net. We're not going to create an Official Mobile App, but you (or anyone else) is welcome to do so. I think a search will find a [violet] quote to back this up.

There are apps for Android out there, just search "NationStates" on Google Play and a few should pop up. None are official or include the forum, but there's always the mobile site.

Use the Mobile theme - Works fine for me. Violet is pretty good about addressing issues with it too if you make a post. I had issue with how close the supress button was to the quote - and she fixed it within hours.

Observation: the DS can connect to the internet via Wi-Fi (well, COULD, if it hadn't shipped with an encryption key that was obsolete already), so that wouldn't have necessarily been offline.
