I have a suggestion!

I know that they do pranks for april fools, so, why not do jokes for easter? Such as "Everyone gets a easter egg regardless of whether or not they are qualified, and so on.

No. April Fools is meant for jokes. Easter is means to eat choclolate and celebrate a guy who may or may not have existed resurrecting himself.

Plus Easter and April Fools are typically less than a month apart. April Fools (especially the more elaborate ones of recent years) requires a lot of techie time to program. Besides, as already pointed out, April Fools is a holiday entirely about jokes and pranks; Easter is technically speaking a religious holiday. The notion of pranks and such in relation to Easter... really doesn't have much of a flow to it.
