I'm not sure we particularly need another GCR to be perfectly honest, which is the same concern expressed by many earlier in this thread. That said, Persephone is a nice name.

Since this topic opened, the population of the three sinkers have shrunk:

• Osiris: 3777 (+31)
• Balder: 3784 (-23)
• Lazarus: 3983 (-188)

However, those numbers were taken from early April 2014 and compared with mid-February 2015. NS Population trends are cyclic, and it can be reasonably assumed that the numbers will grow slightly, especially with the typical April Fools' spike. So it's a little misleading. If I take the same populations and compare them to how they were one year ago, I see the following trends:

• Osiris: +848 (+ 29%)
• Balder: +859 (+ 29%)
• Lazarus: +889 (+ 29%)

That's quite a remarkable increase, in my opinion. And actually, if I take these numbers back two years ago, it seems that the current 2014 numbers still hold water; that is, these regions are growing. Take that for what it's worth, but it's been cited before (including in this thread) that adding sinkers is an admin decision (specifically a [violet] decision, based on what I've read). It's a compelling argument, but there is one sticking point, and that is Lazarus was at 6,494 nations prior to the creation of balder and Osiris. When the dust settled, let's say one year from then, Lazarus lost a staggaring 3,312 nations. That's a lot. However, we have three sinkers now. Divided among the three sinkers, that's about 1,100 nations.

Remember, it's been historically proven that regions gain in population up until about the start of summer vacation. If projections work out correctly, all three regions should theoretically be into the 4,000's by April Fool's. This means that if we created happened to create a fourth sinker today, it would put them slightly under the populations on April Fool's Day last year.


In short, it's feasible, population wise. Should [v] want a more detailed analysis, one can be provided. As for the name, I said it last year and I'll say it this year: Izanami sounds cool. Plus it's Japanese. And everyone likes weeaboos. You know who especially like weeaboos? Teenagers. What a way to attract userites to GCR's and get more teens playing the game!
