Recently, however, I hasve lost the hover feature despite the option having been selected in the settings field. Is this just a short-term problem? It was especially frustrating when switching between puppets during Z-3 :(

It's been replaced by the Puppet Manager.

Which is where? Clicked on the "Manage Puppets" tab and just get flags of Ex-Nation against my puppets and no hover facility. Is there something else available?

Do me a favor, and try to actually change something. Every nation should be able to see them, but you shouldn't actually be able to edit anything.

Nothing is working. The only thing that seems to be working is the RMB but it keeps switching between formats

So yes, things have been slow. It's all due to one issue, which cropped up 24 hours ago. For reasons unknown to us, about 24 hours ago, recruitment started consuming vast amounts of CPU...searching for nations to recruit. I don't know exactly why but until the issue is worked out, I've temporarily halted recruitment (the forms & recruitment settings will continue to work, just no recruitment will be carried out). Eluvatar and I will fix in the next few days.

Things should be loading fast again.

Thank you, any word on the banhammer tool? As far as I can see, it's only loading the first or second nation on the list, if it loads at all, and I'd much like to enjoy it's usefulness again :P

So not sure if you noticed it or not Affy/Elu since I'm sure you both run adblock, but removing adblocking from NS++ without giving room for ads on the region page makes it look weird for people who don't have an adblock extension. Most of the time the Ad stays behind the WFE and just peaks out, but sometimes the banner covers the whole bottom right of the WFE. Good news is it made me have the motivation to get adblock. :P

You can also see between the pinned dispatches where it thinks the Ad should go. :P

(It motivated me to save some dimes and shell out my ten bucks for unlimited TG's and no ads :P ... well, actually, the little box that stays over the RMB even with adblock did xD)

Banhammer tool is interesting. How does that work? Reduces the amount of clicks needed? I imagine that gives the ability to ban in dossier regional happenings? Rather than the nation page?

I have it on 3 puppets, but I can't afford it on all of mine since I have 300 or so. Weed is one of the poor puppets, not sure where the money went. ;)

Is there a specific region the banhammer is not working for? As far as I can tell, it seems ok:

http://www.nationstates.net/page=blank/ ... t_paradise

I see all the nations listed there correctly.

It simplifies the management by putting all the ban / kick buttons on one page, and also shows how each ban or kick will affect your SPDR influence score.

Well, I disabled it and now it loads. Any thing that may cause that?

Strange. It's fine now, yes. Couldn't get it over about a 12-hour period, but it's working perfectly now.

Just a note on the banhammer that it isnt always correct on its estimation of who you can ban and the cost since it just calculates from raw spdr, not influence in the specific region. Unless thats changed recently and I haven't noticed :P

Yeah, I have noticed it, but it's still helpful for a general organization, especially when....let's say I'm not too worried about anything but *very* new arrivals I do on the nations page, and long time residents from the banhammer one :P

Roleplay and Gameplay news were taken down for whatever reason, so I posted a farewell article here explaining why the Roleplay news was pretty much going to stop.

I am in full support of bringing it back to the sidebar.

I have this plus no regional update times, no NS++ Badge, and NS Settings cannot be accessed.

Perhaps there should be an option to have the last version. Because this seems like a bug.
