You can save the information in localstorage to a file and carry it with you: Go into NS++ Settings and scroll down to the field labelled "Export Puppet" -- next to it is the "Download Puppets" button which gets you a csv (simple spreadsheet) file which you can import elsewhere.

Note: the puppets file has the passwords to your puppet(s) in the clear, so don't leave it lying around.

You can actually go to NS++ Settings and download a file called puppets.csv that can be put on a flash drive, dropbox, etc. and used to import the list on any computer.

Ah. I assume that's to assuage a concern about giving too many people access to the secret key and so on? Shame there's no way to add 'blind' recruitment officers who can use their time online to send out the recruitment TG without having access to the confidential data about it...

The number of recruitment officers is limited to five for two reasons. First, because recruitment consumes significantly more server resources than normal users. Second, because allowing a significant number of region members to passively recruit would essentially become a way to bypass the API rules about proxying, and that would be trouble I am not interested in. I chose five because it's small but does give regions flexibility (if the 5 are not the founder/delegate, the total is actually seven).

So am I the only one who has this issue using the puppet creation thingy where I can fill everything out and upon hitting "Found Nation", get a message that says "Please supply your style of government", leaving no puppet created and the Found Nation box unable to be clicked on?
It makes a nation perfectly if I don't change anything and just use the settings it generates when I hit "Random Nation", and I can found a nation fine if I log out and create one as if I didn't have the extension, but it's really kind of annoying.
Might be some problem with the dark theme for some reason, but I'm not sure, and I have no idea if it happens to anyone else since it's a pretty long topic and I might just end up missing it if it was here already.

I forgot about that, but I did have that issue a few days ago. I wanted a puppet with a specific setting, and ended up doing the old fashioned log out and make a new nation way to do so.

This seems nice, perhaps it'd be wise to show some screenshots for reference to new users? :)

Does someone need NS++ to host your API script?

When I try to create a puppet, it asks me to "please supply a style of government" no matter if I have random of one of the options selected. As thus, it is not allowing me to create my Envoy nation with ease.

I see. Attempting to reproduce the bug gives me a perfectly valid puppet. Could you possibly open the javascript console, try again, and share what it prints? (Excluding any private information).

My understanding is that the NS++ extension does not support mobile platforms. Sorry.

PS: If a mod could please merge this into the NS++ topic?

Edit: Thank you. For the record, the original topic had a title which indicated The Laxus Union was trying to do this on android.

It's chrome. I did some experimenting and discovered one thing that allowed me to create a puppet. "Westerly Winds Envoy - Region of Islam" would not process. Perhaps it was too long, I thought. So I tried "WW Envoy - Region of Islam" even "WW Envoy - ROI" ... nothing worked. Then I killed the hyphen. Boom, puppet made. I know hyphens are allowed in nation names, but is it possible that one here is causing it to error out and give the wrong message?

It's not a problem with NS++. Nation names can't have two or more punctuation marks in a row. Spaces are included. Without NS++ enabled, you get this error:

Your nation name contains two or more punctuation marks in a row. Please correct this before continuing.

It is however a problem with NS++ that it gives the wrong error message.

Something worth looking into.
