IMO, its one of the most important though. That data is an invaluable look at NS history, which can not be recreated.

Please please pretty please at least add the ability to sort/organize our puppet lists. From what I got, it wasn't a *major* piece of work, and would make one of the handiest features a lot more user-friendly. Just being able to put them in something like folders or tabs, maybe even move them (basically like your average bookmarks setup) would be awesome for those of us with many puppets for many purposes.

Begging you on my hands and knees here :P

Thanks for reading  *leaves magic never-ending cookies*

That's already in the latest unreleased version of the extension. Don't worry.

That's good news! Thanks, Afforess. :)

Should be fixed now.

Edit: As for an explanation of what went wrong, on July 21st one of the DigitalOcean cloud servers running NS++ crashed and had to be replaced. No data was lost but the outage caused the primary NS++ server to remain offline until I turned it back on earlier today. NS++ had been running off its backup server for the last 48 hours.

Will any NS++ features come part of the NS game?

Your test scores indicate that you are a tender-minded conservative; this is the political profile one might associate with a protective parent. It appears that you are trusting of religion, and have a compassionate and sympathetic attitude towards humanity in general.

Your attitudes towards economics appear neither committedly capitalist nor socialist, and combined with your social attitudes this creates the picture of someone who would generally be described as a neoconservative.

To round out the picture you appear to be, political preference aside, a uncompromising radical egalitarian with an established worldview.

Right now my goal is to transfer everything over and keep it working. This is a job, as will be simple maintenance, since it's a big deal to take on someone else's software project. I sure hope they consider those ideas. I submitted quite a few on their including the Regional Assembly idea.

Sorry for spamming, but I wonder if I may know the progress on the recruitment telegram situation? There will be some regional policies we will have to alter if the problem cannot be solved. We understand it may not be simple and we are very thankful for it, but we hope to be flexible to work around it. Please let us know! Thank you very much to everyone who is working on it!

I'm terribly sorry!! Recruitment telegrams are still not working :(

It still says I have no permission, though I am already and the only recruitment officer…
The population has dropped by more than 10 nations already :( hopefully it'll be fixed soon...

Is there anything I have to do after you turn on the correct server?

Please help! Sorry for the inconvenience! Thank you!

If I may, I would suggest creating a 'nationstates' organization on github and moving the NS++ repo there, and then instituting a code review policy using pull requests (the fork-and-pull model described therein). I would be pleased to help in any manner you found suitable, including reviewing contributions or helping to fix bugs and/or add test coverage for them.

Ok, I will investigate it. Maybe something else is also broken.

I was planning on suggesting a similar course of action when we reached that point. Right now the domains are now transferred. We are working on NSArchive and NSWiki server transfers. NS++ will be the last component fully transferred due to complexity.

I don't see any problems with the recruitment system. I moved one of my puppets into your region and made it a recruitment officer, and the puppet began sending telegrams on behalf of your region immediately.

Is it possible another plugin you are using is interfering with NationStates++? Can you list your browser and version? Have you tried NationStates++ on a different browser to see if it worked or not?

I am using both Safari and Google Chrome, and both have stated that I have no permission to view. I can see the Office of Afforess added into as a recruitment officer, but neither can I alter it nor do anything else to it.

Hm, okay that is bizarre.

I'm going to add some extra logging to the server side. Can you try going and viewing that page again?

Has it been transferred to Violet or whatever?

So will the regional assembly not be added? Also, you know your suggest features link in original post? I proposed some additional ideas to tie in with the regional assembly.

I can't really say at this stage, because I have no idea. I won't be in charge much longer.

When the transfer is finished, I think [violet] can re-assess the goals for the project, but not before then.

Well the good news is that NationStates++ is remaining open-source. Theoretically you just need to convince another developer (or learn programming yourself) to take up the ideas and it can exist.

well, it would be far to hard and take far too long to learn it, and I know no developers, (though I do have an IRL friend who's great at programming, but I doubt he'd do it) So I guess its not very likely.

I have a question concerning the recruitment campaign feature of NS++. I'm logged on and it shows a little bar on top with who I'm sending telegrams to. Do I continue sending telegrams if I log off, or if my computer is shut down? Or do I have to have my computer on and be logged in for it to run? Thank you.
