I have a question for NS community, I enter in a name and well the system said it is the name of a former nation of significant size and cannot be used ,why is that?

Because the nation has spent some significant time on the game so Violet elected to reserve the nations in case they come back.

They have discussed raising the size of the nation from the current threshold which I believe is 250 Million.

I have seen nations of 17 billion

Of course. I was just letting you know that every name over 250 million is currently reserved.

Do reservations expire?
