Just go this issue. Wonder what triggers it.

Large nation. Not particularly corrupt. Economy collapsed by mistake a while ago, and haven't been able to bring it back up. Don't think any of those have much to do with it. Never authored an issue. Yet.

It's not impossible, but I doubt another chain would be added to the game without the Issue Editors telling us.
If you claim to be religious but don’t control your tongue, you are fooling yourself, and your religion is worthless. Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you. | Not everyone who calls out to me, ‘Lord! Lord!’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those who actually do the will of my Father in heaven will enter. On judgment day many will say to me, ‘Lord! Lord! We prophesied in your name and cast out demons in your name and performed many miracles in your name.’ But I will reply, ‘I never knew you. Get away from me, you who break God’s laws.’

An easter egg chain issue sounds incredibly unlikely. There just aren't supposed to be that many easter eggs in the game.

That is the option I chose when I got it with my puppet. It gave this result "players panic as they discover the newest chain can reset their populations and even delete their nations (Nation has found 2 easter eggs)."

I'll note the puppet has a population of 800 million and has gotten a disproportionate number of repeat issues.

Just so it's clear, all the outcomes of the issue are jokes and not actually real. Also, how can you tell the number of repeat issues is "disproportionate"?

I don't know if it's disproportionate relative to the game as a whole but it does seem to get repeat issues disproportionately often relative to any of my other nations.

Edited to add: And now my main Nation has the issue and it doesn't have a particularly high rate of repeat issues.

Further edited to add: I chose option five, giving me the result "Following new legislation in Pooshenland, common misteaks slip threw as the Issues Editing Team adds issues by the hundread."

Likely has to do with a certain amount of repeat issues gotten. This is me guessing simply by the issue premise itself.

Out of curiosity, how many people that got the easter egg is active in the Got Issues? forum? It's a long shot, but it may have something to do with that.

I'll break our usual Wall of Silence about issue effects, and tell you that gameside doesn't really understand forumside at all. Apart from sharing login information and flags; the two servers really don't talk to one another all that much. To the best of my knowledge, no issue validity will ever be based on forum activity or lack thereof.

I had a feeling that that would be said. It was a long shot idea that I didn't think would be it. This issue has gotten me flustered.

I just got this, large nation who has a select few posts in this particular forum (mostly submitting undiscovered issues into the "got issues" sticky).

I particularly like the second option. Who does Max Barry think he is trying to shove his books down our throats.

I just received this, on the same day as gaining the banner for having answered 300 different issues.
Maybe there are actually several different ways to qualify for this issue?

I chose option #3.

I'll edit this post if & when I notice any effects for having done that.

Oh...hm. That would be interesting, though you'd get plenty of angry posts/telegrams/GHRs from players who dismissed it.

As someone who has been around for a couple of days, I went with option 5. I'd sure love to get another 6,000 issues. I'll finally feel like my people are complaining enough to me. Gods only know what caused it to generate, but I seem to get new issues pretty quickly these days.
