I know about the impending apocalypse, but aside from that does anything happen if you're inactive for a couple weeks?

Will my issues keep stocking up so I can look through them when I have time, or will the oldest ones get automatically dismissed after a while?

You get 5 issues stocked maximum, but they don't leave unless do something or dismiss them.
The Reunited Study Group is looking for new members!
We believe any nation, big or small, capitalist or communist, new or old and religious or godless has the right to join and stay with our region. We socialise both in and out of character, and are also looking to fill up spots in our Parliment! Come on down, claim your spot on our map. We welcome all! (Please note that "all" does not include raiders because they are mean.)

The Feline Nation is a capitalist, cat-run nation that uses the standard Study Group economic currency. Feline Nation is also the Minister of Immigration for The Reunited Study Group.

Issues will eventually repeat, yes. The only exceptions to this are the three "unlockable field" legislation. If you pick the option that unlocks the appropriate field, you'll never see the issue again. If you pick any other option, you can get it again.

Other non-repeating issues are Easter Eggs.

And certain chains. Some chains (#361 and #362) are once off too - so don't dismiss them!

Don´t know about easter eggs, however that is not true. As I have gotten the energy issue and windfarm issue twice(Went for solar panels and windfarms, got the upcoming other issue "Windfarms blowing up a storm" and solved that as well. Still I got the energy issue once again).

Also: There are definitely far more then 3 unlockable issues, I would put my hand in the fire for that.

Sorry, you'd get burned. There are three unlockable fields: Leader, Religion, and Capital. That's it.

Are there issues you can get only after answering other issues a certain way? While it varies from nation to nation, yes. However, those are not considered "unlockables".
