This is my attempt at an issue, reflecting the recent issues with God in the pledge and national motto. Looking for some creative criticism.

Currently writing in a draft some better option wordings.

Description

Following protests by Greatly Oppressing Dieties, people have begun protesting the government use of God in the national anthem.

Validity

Not for nations that chose to have Atheism or not to speak of God anytime.

Options

The fact most of our mottos include some form of God is treacherous! I say we not only ban God from anything Political, but also from being said by former politicians as assurance that it cannot influence this proud, mixed/Atheist country! I'm sure it would improve my publicity-I mean @@NAME@@'s glory and pride. Just fill out these sheets and it'll be over with!"

I don't think you need to note that this person supports your 'enemy party.' It also makes it invalid for nations with one-party systems or who have made themselves kings or whatever. I also suspect option 1 would touch on civil freedom as well.

Option 3 seems to be an 'all good' option.

Thanks for the advice. I'll change Option 3 to have some downsides, and I'll remove the opposite party so it reduces the need of extra validity. As for what G.O.D stands for it's said in the Description. D.O.G. I'll add a name for. Thanks for the advice!

This is a slow moving forum, and issue writing is a marathon not a sprint. Be patient.

Even if you did submit this now, it's likely we wouldn't get around to it for a while. We have upwards of 30 issues we're currently working on (last I checked).

Well you are the actual editor, with access to logs and actually seeing how many issues are sent.. I'm just the guy going on outdated updates from overtime and guessing how many are submitted to how many are finished. So I figured I'd be off by afew years of issues.

The last updates I see on this forum is that we were up to April 2012. One was posted in April 2012 by me; the other is in the Got Issues FAQ. We do have some issues from 2013 being worked on, so we've made some progress since then. I'd guess we're April 2012 - early 2013 with a few stragglers from '11.

Our issue approval engine was built in 2003, and it's not designed to inform you how things come out. It's also anything but instant. Right now there's probably a one-year backup of issues that nobody has viewed, and it won't be touched until we finish with the current batch. So no, you won't find anything out, and yes, your issue submission has entered a great big black hole of suckiness where it will remain until somebody sifts through the thousands of entries. The only way you'll know if it's accepted is when it goes into the game. Rejected submissions are not notified, and no, it's not practical to add a notification engine for those. Sorry.

Not sure when exactly we'll be going through the next batch, but I'd guess that the next time we put issues into the game there'll be a few at once.
